Photographic Skills

Manual Focus features

I used these to ensure my images are focussed at a very high level. This is evident on images located on my blog.
 
Shutter Speed

I used shutter speed to experiment with different lights when taking photographs. I experimented with a torch. I also used shutter speed when taking images of my subject jumping, these allowed me to freeze the movement of my subject. These images are located on my blog.
 
Aperture control

I used aperture control to create different focus levels on the foreground and background of my images. I used a clock as a prop and placed it in front of different backgrounds. These images are located on my blog.
 
ISO Control/ Continuous shoot mode

I used continuous shoot mode when experimenting with bubbles. This allowed me to repeatedly take photographs whilst the bubbles floated away. I also used bubble gum to take photographs of the bubble growing. These images are located on my blog.

I used the margin guide when creating my double page spread. This was to ensure that I didn’t go too close to the edge of the page. I used a column guide creation to allow spaces for my article on my DPS.
